Villa Location

Oasis Parque is located approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro airport along the IC4 (aka A22) motorway. The nearest beaches are Praia da Rocha, which is approximately 5 minutes drive south, and Alvor which is also 5 minutes drive to the south east. Rocha has great facilites and is a stunning beach and has a great nightlife, Alvor has an enormous beach but less facilities, and therefore has less visitors.

There are 2 large water parks in the Algarve, Slide & Splash, which is in Lagoa, approximately 10 minutes away, and Aqualand which is about 15 minutes away. Aqualand is the older park and is closer to the larger resorts such as Albufeira and so can be the busier of the two in the summer, but both are great places to spend the day.

The Algarve is famed for its golf courses and we are located near two of the most favourite, the Penina golf course is located approximately one mile away and is a regular stop on the european PGA tour and also popular for a number of charity pro-am tournaments, the championship has a strict handicap policy of championship course only, in Alvor the Alto golf course is very popular with experts and beginners. Slightly further afield is the BoaVista golf course, which has been built by the same developers who built Oasis Parque and reception should be able to arrange tee times for you.

One of Portimão's most recent attractions is the Autodromo do Algarve, which is a motor race track. It is already a venue on the world superbike championship tour but has regular races every month and has excellent go karting tracks that are available at a reasonable rate.
